Hey! My name is Juliana and I'm a Canadian Illustrator and animator based in Toronto.​​

Back in 2023, I graduated from Sheridan's Bachelor of Illustration program (woohoo!!) and since then I have been working on various fun projects and roles, further developing my skills.

Much of my early work was influenced by my overactive imagination, and things like video games, anime, comics, and cartoons. I would spend my days and nights drawing, building, and gaming, eventually deciding to turn my passions into a career! I've been so surprised at how far silly doodles and bursts of ideas have gotten me!! Young Juju would be so proud :D.

 

Most of my ideas and concepts come from drawing whatever comes to mind and letting my ideas take the lead. I'll usually start with a word or a picture, turn on some cool music and get to work--refining as I go. My driving force is drawing characters and interesting creatures. I also have been working on multiple animations and narrative-based pieces like comics and storyboards.

 

When I’m not drawing, you can find me hanging out with my dog (Pixel) or my guinea pig (Sage--who plays the piano), playing games, or engaging in one of my many hobbies like crocheting, fixing up old Nintendo systems, or learning an odd new skill!
