Hey! My name is Juliana and I'm a Canadian Illustrator and art student based in Toronto.​​

Much of my early work was influenced by my overactive imagination, and things like video games, anime, comics, and cartoons. I would spend my days and nights drawing, building, and gaming, eventually deciding to turn my passions into a career! In recent years, I have been strengthening my core skills; by studying composition, colour theory, and more at Sheridan's Illustration program.​

 

Most of my ideas and concepts come from drawing whatever comes to mind and letting my ideas take the lead. I'll usually start with a word or a picture, turn on some cool music and get to work--refining as I go. My driving force is drawing characters and interesting creatures. I also have been working on multiple animations and narrative-based pieces like comics and storyboards.

 

When I’m not drawing, you can find me hanging out with my dog (Pixel) or my guinea pig (Sage--who plays the piano), playing games, or engaging in one of my many hobbies like crocheting, fixing up old Nintendo systems, or learning an odd new skill!
